Admission to B.Tech (Distance Education), Sept. 2008
Applications are invited on prescribed form for admission to B.Tech (Distance Education) programme in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. The admission will be offered through Entrance Test to be held at Patiala, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore on 31 August 2008.
Established in 1956, Thapar University is one of the oldest and established engineering institutions of India. It has been a pioneer in the advancement of technical education and is known for it’s high quality, industry-oriented engineering programs. Thapar University now offers the same quality programs in the Distance Education Mode. Thapar University is also recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC), Government of India.

ELIGIBILITY:-
Minimum 3 years diploma in relevant area of engineering or equivalent OR B.Sc (CS/IT), BCA or equivalent for B.Tech CS & E program
Experience: Minimum two years in any organization/ industry OR
Minimum 3 Years Diploma in any discipline of Engineering or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of three years relevant experience in the organization/ industry in the area in which candidate is seeking the admission

ENTRANCE TEST
